The Toxteth Tabernacle Baptist Church needed a refresh. But it was important to not lose sight of its purpose and it’s roots.

Different to branding a business or a service, this was always about having clear communication at the heart of the brand, not appealing to a niche or certain cliental, but communicating with a wide range of people from different nations, backgrounds and generations.

Simplicity was an important factor in choosing the brand direction, with a high turnaround of assets needed to be made quickly, all with the pressure of communicating key information.

A passion project for myself, I’ve really enjoyed evolving the ‘Toxteth Tab’ brand, and overseeing the design work as it has been rolled out.
